"I'm never having kids!" "No, I won't 'come around'!" "Love and marriage are not just for having children!" "It's my life, I do what I want!" "I'd rather have a cat or a dog." "I'm a woman, not a god-damn baby factory/incubator/broodmare!" "Overpopulation!!!!!!!!!!!"
I've heard such complaints from a great deal of people on this site, and I'm tired of it. So here's what I have to say:

If you don't want kids, that's fine, just don't have them. Never mind those nagging friends and relatives; you're not being selfish or useless or whatever. There's nothing wrong with being "childless by choice", as long as you aren't rude about it. Just please, calm down already! Get a pet or something. Sheesh...

My apologies if this offended anyone. This is something that's been bugging me lately, and I needed to get it off my chest.
