'CAUSE THEY ARE! 
Meh ... just Mei-Sha and Kya enjoying a lava lamp. 'Nuff said. I got the idea from a little discussion on lava lamps during a livestream I attended last night.
The lamp in this picture is based off of one I own in real life. I've had it for ten years (it was a Christmas gift), and it still works, much to my surprise. However, the little cover that goes over the top is missing; I guess it was misplaced during one of my family's past moves. *shrugs*
