As the title says, a last-minute entry to 
's contest. The word I'm going for here is nostalgia, which means "a longing for something of the past". For some reason, that word reminded me of Nuic and Tex, and their past friendship.
Here we have Nuic remembering his and Tex's friendship during their academy years, and perhaps wondering if he could have done something to save it. Maybe somewhere out in the vastness of space, Tex feels the same way...
This took me quite a while; the shading was a pain in the butt to do, but I finally got something that satisfied me. I rather like how Nuic's eyes came out here - they so shiny! *squeee!*
Once again, I'm sorry this is so last-minute.
