Long Time, No See

This is an old OC I've had lying around for a long time (since around when I first joined this site, I believe), and I have finally gotten around to posting something of her since the first time I drew her. Poor neglected dear... 

Anyway, this lovely little lady is Lonna. She is a Planet Jacker, an alien race featured in the Invader Zim episode "Planet Jackers". This race lives on a planet that orbits a dying sun, so they steal planets, preferably ones with life on them, to toss into their sun to keep it burning. For a time, Lonna's parents, Drek and Nyssa, were employed in this occupation as a team, but after watching one planet fight for its life as it was engulfed by the flames of the dying star, Nyssa felt a twinge of guilt she never felt before. At first she kept her feelings secret, but one day as she and Drek were heading out to look for more planets, she burst into tears. Her husband asked what was wrong, and she told him everything.

"After watching that one planet fight for its life as it burned," she said, "I just couldn't bear the thought of burning someone else's planet anymore. Even to save our own."

Drek was disturbed by his wife's distress, but he was reluctant to give up his job at first, since it paid well and they had Lonna to care and provide for. After giving the matter a lot of thought, he decided to take his family and leave their planet to start afresh elsewhere. They found work at a re-fueling station aboard a space colony inhabited primarily by Vortians and Centaurius Vulpes, and have lived there ever since.

Lonna is a headstrong girl of about ten years (in Planet Jacker age). She has a sort of New Yorker accent (I imagine her to sound like Babs Seed from the MLP:FIM episode "One Bad Apple"), as well as a reputation in her neighborhood for being a pretty scary kid, like that one fearsome kid in the neighborhood everyone's afraid of and talks about as if they were Bigfoot or something. However, whenever a smaller kid is getting picked on, she is usually the first to stick up for them and tell the bullies to take a hike.
